Soundline is a roaming performance that activates unsuspecting crowds and queues within entertainment and festival environments, turning these moments of waiting into an opportunity for play and creative exploration.
The Soundline project is a playful, social sonic intervention investigating future entertainment and potential to facilitate a state of group flow. Performers permeate these sites with playful responsive objects and invite audiences to become co-producers of their own entertainment. Gestural actions of the responsive orbs directly influence the soundscape, resulting in a collaborative performance alongside other attendees.
This project was developed and mentored by the Ars Electronica Futurelab Academy at QUT (AEFA @ QUT) and was presented at the 2018 Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria
